Happy New Year

I can’t believe it’s 2022! What a weird couple of years, but for me, there are positives as well as the more obvious negatives. I’ve had this website for a year now, and have thrown myself into the writing World wholesale. And I love it!

To celebrate the New Year (and as I’m a bit more technically adept, and the previous incarnation was a bit crap), I’ve changed the look of the website, shifted a few things around, and at the same time hopefully re-jigged my presence on Amazon to make my stories a bit more accessible and appealing. I hope you’ve been tempted to read one of my books, but if not, you’re very very welcome to come back and read the blogs and other content here, it’s lovely to have you. I’ve revamped the newsletter pages too, so if you fancy it, please sign up. I won’t bother you that often, I promise, but will be giving out a few freebies here and there to list members, and news of upcoming events and releases.

I’m adding a few reviews of Indie books I really liked so introduce you to other worthy authors too, so please do check out their books and websites and Twitters, and if you can, leave reviews; the lifeblood of authors (both in terms of encouraging new readers, and for that nice warm fuzzy feeling it gives).

Hope is a Six Letter Word is entering the proofing stage this month, so hopefully I’ll have covers and dates available to announce soon (and probably a sneak peek at cover options for people on the mailing list), and I’ll be resuming blogposts about the process and mechanics of the whole thing, so if you’re a new writer, or just have an interest, you can get to see behind the scenes a bit. I’ll also be updating on my non fiction progress (and how that differs), and details of the next story, which I’m very excited about. I just wish I could have a few more hours every day, to write more and faster!

I hope you have a wonderful 2022, and receive all the things you deserve. You’re great. Trust me, I know, it’s a gift of mine.

Stay safe,

Kit
