The change in title may also influence my use of a character name, and be too connected, but the truth is, I was never that enamoured of Wendy as Trent’s ex-girlfriend anyway. It doesn’t quite fit, and doesn’t have any particular links or allusions, which I do like to include. So my next step was to google popular names for girls born in the late nineties, and whittle it down to some potentials, all of which can have a relevance to the plot or other characters (and who would fit as a likely sister to someone named Tracy).
I will therefore send this list to my beta readers too, and see if any chime with then. Oh, and the unusual title for a list?
