You can now find my author page on Amazon, and I’m so proud (pats self on the head) so do keep an eye out for new things there.
As my first book is live now, I thought I’d let you know a little secret. Man in the Bath, if you haven’t read it yet, is set around a fictional University in Leeds, and was inspired partly by the film V for Vendetta (see my blogpost), but what a lot of people don’t know is that one part of it is drawn from real life too. When I was living in Chester, I genuinely came across the notion put forward by my main character, that to capture the musings I have while soaking in the tub, I should video myself, modesty covered by bubbles, to watch later. So I did. Unlike my fictional counterpart, I never showed them to anyone or uploaded them anywhere, but I still have a few of these videos and the ‘Fifth Beatle’ monologue in the novel is drawn in part from a real one I recorded. The others are all made up, but if you read it and think that one seems particularly realistic, well, that’s because it was!
Stay safe,
Kit
