What an unexpected evening! Being slightly grumpy from the mild achyness of my second jab (and a little disappointed they didn’t give me a lollipop) I was genuinely excited to hit 40 followers on Twitter, so did a little tweet about that. Bugger me, all the nice people out there in tweetyland linked and reposted it and I gained 400 extra followers overnight. I know numbers don’t mean anything in themselves, but it was such a lovely surprise and gave me the kick I needed to get back to the actual writing. I now feel obliged to try and think of interesting things to tweet too, we’ll see how that goes.
The Raven Sound is free this weekend on Amazon as one of those promo deals so hopefully some people will download and have a read. To be honest, I have no illusions I’ll ever get to give up the day job, but just the fact some people are reading what I write (and some of them seem to like it) puts me in a happy place. I’ll get back to updating on how the new story is going shortly.
