While tEXt me is out for reading (comments starting to come back now, and some great ideas and spots of errors) and I’ll update on that soon, I’m working on a mainly non-fiction project too, as I never like resting on my laurels too much. It’s a very personal project to me, related to my mum, so I’m not sure if it will end up being something just for me, or whether I should make it available so others can read a personal narrative about the impact of dementia. There are a number of those out there, and it’s the writing and remembering that is important rather than the sharing, but we’ll see how it goes.
If I decide to share more details about this, I’ll post an update but this is really just to keep with the following of my writing process. I find it useful to have more than one project underway at the same time, particularly when they’re so different, as there is always something I can write if I’m uninspired or blocked on the other one. I know a lot of people prefer to focus on one but I’m the same with reading and with writing, I naturally have options to switch between depending on my mood.
Stay safe
