Countdown to Launch

All going well here, as we get closer to official launch of the website. Keep your eyes on the countdown for that on the front page. Hopefully you’ve managed to have a look around and found some things of interest by now. Along with the blog posts and recommendations which are starting to go up, I’ll shortly be adding a ‘Selected Poems’ book, drawn primarily from publications over the last thirty years, and for the launch, for a limited time period, a free novel so you can have a more in depth try of my writing before you (hopefully) decide to  buy the new one, ‘The Raven Sound’, on Amazon. I’ll be announcing the launch details for that very soon.

The short fictions up on the site already are deliberately ‘bitesize’, for those few minutes you have to spare, but the novel I’ll be adding, ‘The Man in the Bath’, is a little longer at around 48000 words, so still quite digestible. It’s the story of a man who inadvertently created a worldwide cult, by philosophising in video clips while relaxing in the bath. I originally wrote it before the explosion of youtube and influencers, and its remarkable prescient for today. I’m just updating and tarting up a little, but you’ll be able to access it on the ‘Fictions’ page very soon now.

I’ve added a signup form for my newsletter at the bottom of each of these pages, so please do sign up so find out when major new content is available on the site, or for extra freebies. I’m not one of those who’ll bother you constantly, so I’ll only send out updates if there’s something significant I think you might like to be aware of.

Right, back to the writing.

Stay Safe,

Kit
